Today was the first day of my full switch over to a Dr. Hauschka face
and I'm very pleased. Everything has an almost aromatherapyish quality,
and I've already deemed my new beauty routine well worth the money.
I was a little nervous after I ordered it, because it is so expensive, especially after Carlyn turned me on to Everyday Minerals. But, all is well.
I ordered my stuff from a wonderful company called Saffron Rouge. They have a great inventory of natural/organic beauty care products, fantastic customer service, a speedy delivery time and they send free samples. In fact, I got a free sample of Quince Day Cream that I've been loving.
I'm still using my Burt's Bees products (which also smell yummy) and I like them a lot, but they are a little heavy. The Hauschka Day Cream slides on and soaks in and my skin feels soft and supple all day.
Speaking of Burt's Bees, I just learned that the company has been purchased by Clorox. Now, I'm pleased that Clorox wants to go green. (Although, how green can they really be?) That is, after all, what I wish for everyone, but I have a a trust issue with Clorox, which, if they are being sincere about going green, I'm sure they understand. If anything - any tiny thing - about Burt's Bees changes, except for an increase in accessibility, I will be truly sad.
In fact, let's face it, it already makes me sad.
But back to the good stuff. I also got a free sample of Primavera Bath Salts
that I can't wait to use. Free samples rock.
The Truth About Beauty is a pretty good resource for learning about natural beauty and the stuff we put on our skin, if you're interested.

I must admit that it was a tad disconcerting to read about your worries about the effects of gravity...and then to click over to see the title of this post. ;) I momentarily panicked that you'd undergone...you know...a PROCEDURE. Ha!

I'm so excited to have found your post and your blog! I have just recently started my blog and its a work in progress. I have also started the Dr. Hauschka skin care and the price killed me, but it feels so nice. I was excited to find a natural skin care line - but it seems that all the other less expensive ones in the drugstores have all that crap in them. I don't see how parabens are good for you. I'm excited to read more posts bye you. Thanks!
