Just because I don't have clients booked, doesn't mean it isn't a business day.
For one thing, I got some writing done today, although not without a great deal of teeth gnashing. Why I must first do this dance of resistance is still a mystery to me but the point is that some writing was accomplished and this is good.
I also spent over an hour attempting to create a podcast. The attempt failed, but I'm still feeling drawn toward communicating in that way. Oh, it was almost really good until it wasn't.
The work (I'm still looking for a better word for this stuff - the stuff I do that lives beneath this dream life canopy) is growing. It's cutting off the dead branches and sprouting new ones.
I've developed a new course. It's based on the journaling the chakras workshop that I taught last year only it's done completely through e-mail. You can sign up for it whenever you want and for eight weeks, you receive the goods in your mailbox - PDFs of writing prompts and exercises and musings about the chakras to help you gain balance and clarity and self-awareness. It comes with conversation, of course, and I love the idea of it because it feels so personal, so adaptable to each recipient. Chakra health is vital; it's crucial; it's the underpinning of everything. (And I'm passionate about it right now.)
I'm also going to be doing readings at the Mystical Paranormal Fair again on Saturday. I love this fair. It has a light, positive energy and the other practitioners are great. I did a trade last time that knocked my socks off (and learned my animal totems).
I made some brochures (is the brochure totally obsolete now?) and my new business cards arrived. I have some Young Living essential oils on the way and I'm looking forward to incorporating more aromatherapy into the Reiki.
It's good; it's good; it's glowy.
for the August Break.
